Source: Blu-ray.comLouis Leterrier's 2005 action film Unleashed (AKA Danny the Dog) was a ferocious movie that starred Jet Li as Danny; a human dog raised and trained for the soul purpose of fighting is coming to Blu-ray. As you can imagine he is very good at what he does in ring, but he wants something more than the life of a fighting dog. Danny, the dog, yearns to be human.
This film, written by Luc Besson (La Femme Nikita), was so much more than a hardcore action flick, it was a deep look into what it means to have humanity. But don't let that fool you because there are some brutal fight scenes that only a skilled martial artist like Jet Li can pull off.
Besides the talented Jet Li the movie had a supporting cast of Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins (Who Framed Roger Rabbit). This new Blu-ray has special features that were not in the DVD or HD DVD release of Unleashed.
