Source: HighDef Disc News2006's animated comedy/horror Monster House will be getting a re-release, this time as a 3D Blu-ray. This will be Sony's second 3D release (The first was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) in full 1080p resolution.
The plot of Monster House revolves around three kids who discover that an old neighborhood house is actually a living, breathing creature that sustains itself bey apparently devouring all who make the mistake of entering it. And with Halloween just a day away they take it upon themselves to stop this monster before it can get it's maw around clueless trick'r'treaters.
Monster House uses the voice talents including Steve Buscemi, Fred Willard and Maggie Gyllanhaal in the animated family flick. It will get a 3D Blu-ray release on September 14th, and it comes with a goodie bag of extras!
